- My primary motivation to run for another term is to give back to Telluride. I love this community and feel grateful to be able to raise our kids here. I want to be a contributing member of the Telluride community. More specifically, I think my experience has been valuable to the district’s administration to improve the outcomes for our kids. I see lots of opportunities for me to continue making a positive impact.
- I don’t have any agenda. I just want to work collaboratively with the rest of the board and the district team to do what’s best for the kids.
- It’s all about the kids. The district is focused on exceeding academic growth targets for each student in addition to producing happy, productive members of the community. In order to achieve this, the district needs to attract, retain, and grow a great team - especially teachers. We need to continue to improve the pay for our teachers. We also need to pass the new bond measure in November to provide funds for workforce housing, so we can hire the next generation of teachers to educate our kids.
