Shahid Malik was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 13th Congressional District of Georgia. He lost to incumbent David Scott.[1]

Malik ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 13th District. Malik sought the nomination on the Republican ticket.[2] Candidates wishing to run were required to file by the signature filing deadline of May 25, 2012. The primary elections were held on July 31, 2012. Malik was unopposed in the primary and moved on to the general election November 6, 2012, where he lost to incumbent David Scott.[3]
