Suspension
The Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission recommended Judge Pope's suspension after an altercation between the judge and his wife's boyfriend at a Wal-Mart in Crossett, Arkansas.
On October 4, 2012, the Arkansas Supreme Court sentenced Judge Pope to a 30-day suspension, anger management counseling, and to write an apology letter.[10][11]
