Gregory ran for the District 25 seat in the state House in 2012. He was defeated by Megan England in the August 7 Democratic primary. Melissa Rooker defeated Stephen Foster and Bill Griffith in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
