I was born in New Mexico and raised in Stockton California a farming community. Our family honored Caesar Chavez's ban on grapes and marched for world peace as my parents are strong advocates of human rights!

Upon joining the US Navy I began traveling the world and lived a multicultural experience. I graduated with a BA from CSU Sacramento in government focusing on international relations. Through my internship with Senator Pro-Tem Roberti I was offered an opportunity to work on a state senate race; followed by the reelection campaign of Mayor Ernie Kell.

Transforming my occupational journey to fashion i was able to work with my sister, Anna Huling, a Rising Star Winner in the fashion industry in Los Angeles. After married we move to Long Beach in 2005 and I became inspired by only using public transportation.

Our son was born we participated in community based activities: story time at downtown public library, community college for pre-school, building gardens, museums, music in the parks, downtown farmer's market and riding the bike lanes!

As my son's first teacher I transformed my karma into my mission. Upon graduating from the Neighborhood Leadership Program City of Long Beach my entire focus was community building or haciendo communidad! Let's elevate, cultivate and develope Long Beach with access for all people.
to build community the district and provide access for all people
I worked at McDonald's for at least a year when i was 16 years
