Skipper Pearson
Skipper J. Pearson was a Minnesota Seventh Judicial District judge for Stearns County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position in 1990 and was elected to full terms in 1992, 1998, 2004 and 2010. His current term was due to end in January 2017, but he retired effective April 2012.
Career
Judge Pearson began his legal career in 1978 as an attorney with the firm of Eller, Schiff & Pearson. In 1985, he left this firm and worked as a sole practitioner until his judicial appointment in 1990.
Pearson received his B.A. degree from St. Cloud University in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 1977.[1]
