Stephanie K. Sato is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. She assumed office in 2021. Her current term ends on January 6, 2031.

Sato won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California outright in the primary on March 5, 2024, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Sato was appointed to the court on July 9, 2021, by Gavin Newsom (D).[1]

Biography

Sato worked as a contracts associate at IT Ascent from 2006 to 2007. She was an associate at the Law Offices at Stonehouse & Silva from 2007 to 2011 and of Peter G. Loewenstein from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2020, she was a sole practitioner. In 2021, Sato served as an administrative law judge for the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.[1]
