Stephen C. St. John

Stephen C. St. John is the chief judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. He was appointed to the bench on September 27, 1995, and his term will expire on September 27, 2037. He began his term as chief judge on January 1, 2013.[1][2][3]
Education
St. John earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Richmond and his J.D. at the University of Virginia.[4]
Career
Prior to taking the bench, St. John served as a partner at Williams Worrell Kelly & Greer, P.C., and later at Faggert & Frieden, P.C. until he was appointed as a judge.[2]
