Steve F. Smith was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada.[1]

Smith ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 34.4 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent Kerry Earley. [1] 

Education

Smith received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Newark, New Jersey.[2]

Career

Smith has been a court-appointed arbitrator in the Eighth Judicial District Court's Mandatory Arbitration Program since 1997. He is a short term trial judge. He has worked as a prosecutor, public defender, deputy attorney general in New Jersey, and general counsel for the Nevada Power Company and Southern Nevada Health District.[2]
