The election in Traverse City featured five at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Erik J. Falconer, Scott C. Hardy and Todd M. Sanders ran against challengers Kelly J. Clark, Thomas A. Grigal, Sue Kelly, Letha Polk, John Scrudato and Christine Stalsonburg for the four seats with full four-year terms. Fellow board member Doris Ellery ran unopposed and won a seat with an unexpired two-year term. Board President Kelly M. Hall did not file for re-election.
Incumbents Erik J. Falconer and Scott C. Hardy and challengers Kelly J. Clark and Sue Kelly defeated the five other candidates to win the four seats with full four-year terms.
