Tim Gruber
Tim Gruber was a member of the Madison Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 11 from 2005 to 2009 and 2016 to 2017. After initially serving from 2005 to 2009, he was appointed to the city council again in March 2016 to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Alder Chris Schmidt. As he pledged in his application for appointment to the position, Gruber did not seek election to a full term on the city council in 2017.[1][2][3]
Biography
Gruber earned a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in music performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.[2]
As of his appointment to the city council in 2016, Gruber was a music teacher at Midvale Elementary School and a member of the Madison Marimba Quartet. He also served as a plan commission member for the city of Madison from 2007 to 2011.[2]
