Tony Arnett
Tony Arnett is an at-large representative on the Watertown Unified School District school board in Wisconsin. First elected in 2014, Arnett won a new term in the at-large general election on April 4, 2017.
Prior to getting elected, Arnett unsuccessfully ran for a seat on the board. Arnett was defeated in the general election in 2013.
Biography
Arnett's work experience includes serving as the director of e-commerce for Full Compass Systems, as the IT director for Markel Insurance, and as a retail bookstore manager. He previously served on the Watertown City Council from 2007 to 2013, on the Yellow Springs Village Council in Ohio from 1998 to 2005, and on the Yellow Springs Board of Education from 1994 to 1998. Arnett earned a bachelor's degree in management from Antioch University. He had his wife have two children.[1][2]

2017
Three of the nine seats on the Watertown Unified School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. In their bids for re-election to the board, incumbents Tony Arnett, Jennifer Bakke, and Mark Holland defeated challenger Ronald Roehl.[3][4][5]

Funding
Arnett filed an exemption statement detailing he would not spend or receive more than $2,000 toward his campaign. Because of this, he did not have to file additional campaign finance reports.[6]

Every incumbent on the Watertown Unified Board of Education whose term was up for election in 2017 ran for and won another term. In the 2016 election, two of the three incumbents whose terms were up for election ran to retain their seats. Both incumbents won re-election that year, and a new member won the open seat on the ballot.
