Walter M. Kaminsky is a judge for the Tenth Judicial District in Minnesota. Kaminsky was appointed to this position on August 28, 2013, by Governor Mark Dayton.[1]

He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[2]

Education

Kaminsky received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago and his J.D. from the Valparaiso University School of Law.[1]

Career

Before his appointment to the bench for the Tenth Judicial District, Kaminsky was an attorney with Lindell and Lavoie. Prior to that, Kaminsky served as Sherburne County attorney and was a partner with Terpstra, Black, Brandell, Kaminsky & Hoffman.[1]
