Wagner was the chief judge of the 2nd Judicial District from 2008 to 2014.[3] Wagner was appointed chief judge on April 8, 2008, following Gerald Ptacek's maximum term expiration.[4] She was re-appointed in 2010 and 2012 for additional two-year terms.[5][3]
Education
Wagner earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1971. She went on to earn her J.D. from the same school in 1982.[2]

Wagner was re-elected without opposition to the Kenosha County Circuit Court, Branch 6 in 2015. Wisconsin's general judicial election was held on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates was January 6, 2015.[6][7]
