The Albany School District Referendum was a school bond measure on the April 7 ballot in the Albany School District which is in Green County. The referendum was brought to the ballot by the school board, and it sought to issue debt in the amount of $2,000,000. The additional funds will be used to make safety improvements and upgrades to district buildings.

Status

Passed, with 539 "yes" votes and 257 "no" votes.[1]

Wording of referendum

Be it resolved by the School Board of the School District of Albany, Green and Rock Counties, Wisconsin, that there shall be issued, pursuant to Chapter 67, Wisconsin Statutes, General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of essential school building and safety improvements including energy efficient roof replacements and heating/cooling system upgrades[1]
