A Chippewa School District Bond Measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the Chippewa school district which is in Wayne County, Ohio.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,715 (45%)
  • NO 2,094 (55%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $23 million which would be used to build a new K-8 school building as well as renovating an older high school building in the district. This bond would have also added a levy of $6.30 per $1,000 of assessed property value to local taxes in order to pay off the bond. The project would have also received funds from the Ohio Schools Facility Commission which would have paid around 45 percent of the total cost of the construction.[2]
