A Leitchfield City Wet/Dry Referendum measure was on the March 23, 2010 ballot in the city of Leitchfield which is in Grayson County.
This measure was approved
This measure sought to allow the sale of alcohol in restaurants with more than 100 seats within the city limits. Proponents for the alcohol sales saw it as a means to encourage growth in the city and improve development. Opponents had wanted to find other means to encourage growth, but acknowledged the democratic process and hope the city can still come together to grow.[1]
