There was a Lucas County Tax Levy Replacement measure on the November 3 ballot in Lucas County.
This measure sought to replace a current sales tax with a new one in the amount of $.045 which would go towards providing and maintaining senior citizens services and facilities. This tax would last for five years after it has been approved.[1] This would specifically fund the Area Office on Aging which provides services for seniors with mental health issues and those that need care giving.[2]
