- As a former prosecutor, Brienne Delaney has seen first-hand the toll violent crime takes on our neighborhoods. As councillor, she will focus intently on increasing the city’s investment in mental health and addiction treatment, support the expansion of the city’s gun violence reduction initiatives, and fully fund public safety.
- Second, Brienne understands that Indianapolis has long struggled with significant infrastructure challenges. For families across Indianapolis, repaired streets and ample sidewalks are not merely a transportation issue – they represent a safety issue. Brienne will fully support efforts to address these longstanding challenges by working with surrounding communities and other partners to seek sufficient and full funding from the State of Indiana.
- Finally, as a mom, Brienne believes that the cornerstone of the future of our city rests in our schools. She is committed to supporting students, investing in teachers and facilities, and listening to families.
