Donita Sena is a judge for the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court, Division 4, in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. She was appointed to the court by Governor Susana Martinez on August 1, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Sandra K. Miera.[1] Sena was elected in 2014.[2]

Sena ran for re-election to the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 64.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Marcus M. Romero.
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][3] 

Education

Sena received her undergraduate degree from the College of Santa Fe and her master's degree in social work from the New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.[1]

Career

Before her appointment to the court, Sena served as a program coordinator for the DWI and Drug Court of the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court.[1]
