Matt Nelson was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Maricopa County Justice Courts in Arizona.[1] He ran unsuccessfully for judge on the same court in 2010.[2]

Nelson ran for election to the Maricopa County Justice Courts.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 22.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Don Calender, Charles V. Boles and Mark Thompson.

Nelson ran as an Independent for the University Lakes Justice Court. He was defeated by Meg Burton-Cahill in the general election.[2]
