Phyllis Sanchez was an at-large member of the Pueblo City Board of Education in Colorado. She first won election to the board in 2009, and she served the board until December 2017 as she did not file to run for another term in the general election on November 7, 2017.

Sanchez graduated from Centennial High School in 1976. She founded and served as CEO of Senior Care Systems of Colorado, Inc. Sanchez also served on the Parkview Medical Center Board and the Pueblo Zoological Society Board. She and her husband have one adult child.[1]
