Eileen Herrington is a justice of the peace for the Virginia Township Justice Court in Nevada. In the general election on November 6, 2012, she was elected to a term expiring in January 2019.

Career

Herrington was the paralegal to the Storey County District Attorney since 1997. She is also the founder and coordinator of the Storey County Victim Services Unit.[1]

Elections

2012

Herrington faced Jack McGuffey, Tom Redican, and Marie DuFresne in the primary election on June 12, 2012. Herrington was the top vote-getter in the primary, receiving 37.65% of the vote.[3] She defeated incumbent Justice of the Peace Jack McGuffey in the general election on November 6, 2012, earning 51.77% of the vote.[4] Her term will expire in January 2019.
