L. Elizabeth Brown
L. Elizabeth Lockhart Brown is an Oklahoma associate district judge for Adair County, which is located in District 15.[1] She joined the court in 2002. She was re-elected in 2014 after running unopposed. Her term expired on January 13, 2019.[2]

As an unopposed candidate, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.

2010
Brown won 58% of the vote in the primary election held July 27, 2010, to retain her position on the district court. Brown received 2,994 votes to easily reach the 51% of the vote total needed to avoid a runoff and stay in her position. Also running but failing to garner enough votes were Barrett Harris who received 1,367 votes (26%) and Ralph Keen (809 votes, 16%). She was re-elected without opposition in the general election.[3][4]

Education
Brown received a bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University, and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University in 1997.[5]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Brown worked in private practice.[5]
