On April 22, 2022, McCarthy was appointed by Gov. Mike Parson to serve as a Circuit Judge on the 22nd Circuit Court to replace David L. Dowd.[1]
Education
McCarthy received a bachelor's degree from Truman State University in 2001, and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004.[1]
Career
At the time of his appointment, McCarthy worked as an attorney at TuckerAllen LLC.[1] He also served as an assistant St. Louis County prosecutor and an assistant St. Louis City counselor.[2]
