Two DC federal judges announce plans to retire

Washington, D.C.: Two federal judges for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia have announced plans to retire from the court. Henry Kennedy stepped down effective November 18, 2011 and Ricardo Urbina has said that he plans to move from his current senior status to full retirement in March of 2012.
District Chief Judge Royce Lamberth said in a statement: "Judges Urbina and Kennedy have been outstanding judges and trusted colleagues. We will miss their presence, and wish them well in their future endeavors."[1]
Kennedy served the court since 1997 and Urbina since 1994. Both were appointed by Bill Clinton.
