Ted Ferrioli
Ted Ferrioli (b. February 15, 1951) is a former Republican member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 30 from 1997 to 2017. For part of his tenure in the state Senate, Ferrioli served as minority leader.
Ferrioli resigned on December 31, 2017, in order to take a position on the Northwest Power and Conservation Planning Council. Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D) appointed Ferrioli to the position on October 23, 2017. The appointment was scheduled to take effect on January 16, 2018.[1]
In February 2015, Ferrioli expressed support for an ethics investigation of Gov. John Kitzhaber (D) by Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum. Kitzhaber announced his resignation from office on February 13, 2015, effective on February 18.[2] Jump to this dedicated page on the story to learn more about the investigation.[3]
Biography
Ferrioli earned his B.A. in English from the University of Oregon in 1973. His professional experience includes working for Malheur Timber Operators, founding Community Relation Associates, Incorporated in 1986, and as a former employee of the Department of Veterans' Affairs.[4] He also served as a member of the Creswell City Council.

Ferrioli won re-election in the 2012 election for Oregon State Senate District 30. Ferrioli was unopposed in the May 15 Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10][11]

On November 4, 2008, Ferrioli won re-election to District 30 in the Oregon State Senate. Ferrioli had no challenger.[12][13]
