Michael Gaudet (Republican Party) is a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System in Louisiana, representing District 7. He assumed office in 2017. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.

Gaudet (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System to represent District 7 in Louisiana. He won in the general election on December 10, 2022.

Gaudet was appointed to the position in January 2017 after his predecessor, Barbara Freiberg, resigned.[1]

One of nine seats on the East Baton Rouge Parish School System school board in Louisiana was up for by-district special election. The primary election was scheduled for October 14, 2017, after former District 7 representative Barbara Freiberg resigned from her position on the board.[2][3] Appointed board member Michael Gaudet defeated challengers Brian Adams and Belinda Davis in the race for the District 7 seat.[4]
