Two of the five seats on the Mesa County Valley School District 51 Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 3, 2015.

The seats of District A incumbent Arvan Jeffry Leany and District B incumbent Ann Tisue were up for election.[2][3] Challenger Doug Levinson defeated Leany and Kelly Reed for the District A seat. Tisue did not file to run for re-election in District B, which guaranteed a newcomer joined the board. Paul Pitton defeated Cindy Enos-Martinez and George Rau in the race to replace Tisue.[4]
