Two seats on the Harrison School District Two Board of Education were scheduled for general election on November 3, 2015.

The at-large seats of incumbents Eileen Lynch Gonzalez and Victor Torres were up for election.[1][2] Gonzalez filed for re-election and Torres was not eligible for re-election due to term limits. Gonzalez and Yesenia Torres, the wife of Victor Torres, were the only candidates to file by the August 28 deadline. The board declared Gonzalez and Torres the winners of the election by acclamation on September 1, 2015, due to a lack of opposition.[3]

Harrison School District Two is located in El Paso County in central Colorado. The county seat of El Paso County is Colorado Springs. El Paso County was home to an estimated 655,044 residents in 2013, according to the United States Census Bureau.[4] Harrison School District Two was the 19th-largest school district in Colorado, serving 11,108 students during the 2011-2012 school year.[5]
