Stephen J. Windhorst
Stephen J. Windhorst (Republican Party) is a judge for the 1st District of the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. He assumed office in 2012. His current term ends on December 31, 2032.
Windhorst (Republican Party) won re-election for the 1st District judge of the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal outright in the primary on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Education
Windhorst earned his B.A. and J.D. from Tulane University.[1]
Career
Prior to his election to the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, Windhorst was the Division J judge of the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana.
