William H. Seals, Jr. is an at-large judge for the South Carolina Circuit Courts.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on February 11, 2009.[2] He was re-elected on February 4, 2015, and February 3, 2021, to a term expiring in 2027.[3][4]

Education

Seals received his undergraduate degree from Charleston Southern University in 1982 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in 1990.[5]

Career

Before joining the court, Seals worked in private practice in Marion, South Carolina until 2009. From 1996 to 2009, he also served as a municipal court judge for the City of Marion.[5]
