Julie Helene Becker
Julie Helene Becker is an associate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She was confirmed on a voice vote of the United States Senate on June 23, 2016. Prior to her judicial service, she was a supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. [1][2]

President Barack Obama nominated Becker to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on April 30, 2015, to a seat vacated by Judge Herbert B. Dixon, Jr..[2] Hearings on Becker's nomination were held before the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and her nomination was reported by U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on April 25, 2016. Becker was confirmed on a voice vote of the U.S. Senate on June 23, 2016.[1]
