The Montana Soldiers' Compensation Referendum, also known as R-25, was on the November 7, 1922 ballot in Montana as a veto referendum, where it was approved. The measure provided for the payment to soldiers who served in the war between April 6, 1917 and November 11, 1918 by authorizing the state to become indebted up to $4.5 million.[1][2]
