Mahoney joins 29th Judicial District Court

Wyandotte County, Kansas: William P. Mahoney was sworn-in to the 29th Judicial District Court in Kansas on October 1, 2010. He will serve in Wyandotte County Division Four, the seat previously held by his father. Mahoney ran against Rick Rehorn for this position and won in the summer of 2010. Regarding the election, Mahoney stated, "It's just a humbling thing and it takes a lot of people to help make this happen." He graduated from Texas Christian University and the University of Kansas School of Law. After serving the U.S. Navy for a time, he began a private practice in 1993.[1]
