Washington, D.C.: Noël Kramer of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals will retire on May 1, 2011. She has served the court since her 2005 appointment by George W. Bush. [1][2]

The District of Columbia Court of Appeals is the court of last resort in Washington, DC. Judges to this court are recommended to the President of the United States by the District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission, who may choose one to nominate to the court. Applications from those interested in the seat are due to the Commission by May 6, 2011. [1]
