The Judicial Update

June 3, 2011

Washington, D.C.: The Deputy Presiding Judge on the DC Superior Court, Robert E. Morin, is seeking another term on the court. He was first appointed in 1996 as an associate judge on the court and was elevated to Deputy Presiding Judge in 2010. Terms on the DC Superior court are for 15 years. Morin's present terms expires on July 30, 2011.

Morin has been rated "Well Qualified" by the District of Columbia Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure, who have recommended him to President Obama for an additional term, calling him "a credit to our judicial system and of great benefit to the District of Columbia community."[1]
