Judge Sampson to retire from Wyoming Circuit Court

Wyoming: Judge J. John Sampson plans to retire from the Fourth Circuit Court of Wyoming on January 1, 2013. He has served on the court since 1991, when he was appointed by former Governor Michael Sullivan.
The vacancy was announced mid-August and the Judicial Nominating Commission is seeking a replacement. Gov. Matt Mead will appoint the new judge from a list of three finalists chosen by the Commission.[1]
