The Louisiana Bail Amendment, also known as Amendment 20, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 5, 1968, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed to allow bail for felons convicted of a crime with a sentence of ten years of less.[1]
