The Alabama Pickens County Tax Officials Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Alabama on September 13, 1977, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that voter approval must be sought prior to consolidating the duties of the tax assessor and tax collector in Pickens County.[1]
