Class II

On November 4, 2014, incumbent Jeff Merkley (D) won re-election to the United States Senate. He defeated Monica Wehby (R), Mike Montchalin (L), James Leuenberger (Constitution) and Christina Jean Lugo (G) in the general election.

On November 4, 2008, Jeff Merkley won election to the United States Senate. He defeated Gordon H. Smith (R) and David Brownlow (Constitution) in the general election.[2]
2002
On November 5, 2002, Gordon Smith (R) won re-election to the United States Senate. He defeated Bill Bradbury (D), Dan Fitzgerald (L) and Lon Mabon (Constitution) in the general election.[3]
1996
On November 5, 1996, Gordon Smith (R) won election to the United States Senate. He defeated Tom Bruggere (D), Brent Thompson (Reform), Gary Kutcher (Pacific), Paul "Stormy" Mohn (L), Christopher Phelps (Socialist) and Michael L. Hoyes (Natural Law) in the general election.[4]
Class III
Senators in Class III were elected to office in the November 2016 general election, unless they took their seat through appointment or special election.[5] Class III terms run from the beginning of the 115th Congress on January 3, 2017, to the end of the 117th Congress on January 3, 2023.[5]

On November 2, 2010, Ron Wyden won re-election to the United States Senate. He defeated Jim Huffman (R), Bruce Cronk (Working Families), Marc Delphine (Libertarian) and Rick Staggenborg (Progressive) in the general election.[6]

On November 2, 2004, Ron Wyden won re-election to the United States Senate. He defeated Al King (R), Dan Fitzgerald (Libertarian), Teresa Keane (Pacific Green) and David Brownlow (Constitution) in the general election.[7]

On November 3, 1998, Ron Wyden won re-election to the United States Senate. He defeated John Lim (R), Jim Brewster (Libertarian), Dean Braa (Socialist), Karyn Moskowitz (Pacific) and Michael Campbell (Natural Law) in the general election.[8]
