Robert G. Montgomery is a judge on the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division. He was elected to this office on November 2, 2010.[1] Montgomery was re-elected to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division in 2014, winning a new term that expires on February 8, 2021.[2]

2010
Montgomery was elected to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division. He defeated incumbent Alan Acker in the general election, winning 59.18% of the vote.[4]
Education
Montgomery received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in 1989 and his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1996.[1]
Career
Immediately prior to joining the Probate Court, Montgomery served as the recorder for Franklin County from 2000 until 2010. Before that, he was a partner at a firm specializing in estate planning, real estate, and business law. Montgomery has also served as assistant prosecutors for the Village of Hartford and the City of Newark, and worked as a licensed title agent.[1][5]
