A Martin County School District Property Tax Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Martin County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 16,752 (33%)
  • NO 34,007 (67%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to increase the property tax rate by $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property. The money generated from this increased tax would go towards funding school programs and operational costs of running the district.[2]
