Oakridge City Charter Amendments, 4 (November 2010)
Four Oakridge City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Oakridge, which is in Lane County.
Two of the four measures were approved
The first amendment sought to amend the city charter so that City Councilors would have the final say on the qualifications to be a councilor.
The second amendment sought to amend the charter to make it so that the city recorder did not need to sign every city check.
The third amendment sought to amend the charter to state that terms would begin at the first meeting of a new year.
The fourth amendment sought to amend the charter to remove provisions that have been invalidated by state laws.[1]
