School District 28 Tax for School Modernization (November 2009)
A School District 28 Tax for School Modernization was on the November 3, 2009 ballot ballot in Grays Harbor County.
The measure was approved.[1]
This proposition will increase the amount of taxes on property in order to modernize Hoquiam Middle School by repairing the buildings roof, windows, doors and outside walls. This tax will also go towards improving the sewer line at Emerson School. The tax increase will only affect those in that school district.

"Hoquiam School District No. 28 Capital Levy for School Modernization Proposition No. 1 The Board of Directors of Hoquiam School District No. 28 adopted Resolution No. 09-10, concerning a proposition to finance school modernization. This proposition would authorize the District to modernize Hoquiam Middle School (including replace roof, exterior siding, windows and doors, and make handicap accessibility improvements to bathrooms), replace sewer line at Emerson School, and levy the following excess taxes, on all taxable property within the District:
