A Trenton Fire Department Levy Implementation measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Trenton which is in Butler County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 146 (48.5%)
  • NO 155 (51.5%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to implement a property tax at a rate of 4.5 mills in order to pay for a fire department in the city. Currently volunteers are used for fire and emergency services in the city, but this levy would have allowed for paid positions to be established.[2]
