A Washington County Library Property Tax measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Washington County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 12,591 (59.2%) Approveda
  • NO 8,675 (40.8%)[1]

This measure sought to implement a property tax in the county to help pay for library services offered by the county library system. Funds had been cut to the libraries and they were looking to help pay for budget cuts and shortfalls in funding. The money will be used to maintain services and programs offered at the libraries.[2]
