A Westerville School District Levy Repeal Question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the Westerville school district, which is in Franklin County.
This measure seeks to repeal a portion of the current district levy, 6.71 mills of the total 11.4 mill levy. Residents brought this issue to the ballot through a successful petition drive, collecting the needed 3,585 signatures for approval. If approved, the school district would have to reduce their current budget by around $7.4 million and residents would pay on average $205 less in property taxes.[1]
This question was removed from the ballot and therefore not voted on. It was removed from the ballot by a unanimous decision by all three board members at the meeting.[2]
