David F. Sutton ran for a seat on the North Carolina 30A Judicial District in 2010. He has been a lawyer in Waynesville, North Carolina.[1]

2010 election

Sutton was defeated by Kristina L. Earwood in the general election, receiving 48.21 percent of the vote.[2] Though judges in the state do not run with party affiliation, he was endorsed by the North Carolina Democratic Party.[3]
