David N. Schaeffer ran for judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He has been a trial lawyer concentrating on civil litigation.[1]

2010 election

Schaeffer ran against Antoinette Davis, Adrienne Hunter-Strothers, Chris McFadden, James Babalola and Stan Gunter.[2] Schaeffer earned 18.0 percent of the vote, compared to James Babalola's 10.3%, Stan Gunter's 11.4%, Adrienne Hunter-Strothers's 12.1%, Chris McFadden's 22.6%, and Antoinette Davis's 25.5%. Antoinette Davis and Chris McFadden will go on to compete in the runoff election on November 30, 2010.[3]
